What’s it for? 
Tamox works by blocking estrogen in some tissues and mimicking it in others. The half-life is about 5 to 7 days, so it hangs around in your system for a bit. Xeno Labs packs these tablets so you can just take your dose each day, no hassle.

Doctors prescribe Tamox mostly for breast cancer—either as treatment or to lower risk in women who are more likely to get it. It’s also used to help women ovulate when they’re struggling with infertility. On the flip side, bodybuilders use it for a different reason: to push back against estrogen-related problems from steroid cycles, like gynecomastia (think: man boobs) and water retention. It’s also a staple in post-cycle therapy (PCT) to help kickstart natural testosterone production.

What’s good about it?
 First, Tamox blocks estrogen at its receptor, which helps prevent both gynecomastia and bloating. It’s a go-to for PCT because it stimulates the release of LH and FSH, which your body needs to restart its own hormone production. And for women dealing with fertility issues, it can help trigger ovulation.

Now, about the trade-offs. On the plus side, it’s an effective anti-estrogen and helps with PCT recovery. Plus, since it’s oral and non-steroidal, it’s easy on the liver. But there are downsides. You might get hot flashes, nausea, or mood swings. There’s also a higher risk of blood clots—about two to three times higher—and a potential link to endometrial cancer if you use it long-term.
